The double braking system of the electric chain hoist includes mechanical braking and electromagnetic braking. Under their coordinated action, the machine can be stopped at any time for braking.
1. The mechanical load brake ensures that the descent speed does not increase when the load is full and is independent of the motor brake. Even if the motor brake fails, the mechanical load brake still ensures that the load descends slowly.
2. The electromagnetic brake is a unique braking design. Its feature is that it immediately takes effect when the power is suddenly cut off under full load, ensuring safety and speed, and eliminating your worries.
The chain hoist is a very common tool. Many customers encounter various problems due to improper operation. The solutions are as follows:
1. The power phase is wrongly connected, causing the phase protection to activate and making it impossible to operate.
Solution: Swap the two power phase wires.
2. The fuse in the power supply has blown, or the fuseless switch has tripped.
Solution: Check if the current demand is within the limit and replace the fuse with the appropriate one or reset the fuseless switch.
3. The fuse in the control circuit has burned out.
Solution: Check and replace the correct fuse.
4. The power or control circuit wires are broken or not properly connected.
Solution: Repair or replace the broken or poorly connected wires.
5. The power voltage is too low.
Solution: Measure if the voltage is more than 10% lower than the standard supply voltage.
6. The motor makes noise but does not rotate.
Solution: Check if the motor phase is correct - repair and insulate properly.
7. The emergency switch has been pressed.
Solution: Confirm the reason for pressing the emergency switch.
8. The contactor is faulty.
Solution: Manually operate the hoist. If the chain hoist operates normally, it indicates that there is a poor connection in the control coil or wire - find the location of the poor connection and repair it; if the chain hoist still cannot be operated manually, check if the main power supply is normal. If the main power supply is normal, the contactor is faulty and cannot output normally, and it needs to be replaced.
