The JM electric slow-speed winch mainly consists of a power source, transmission, reduction, braking, and winding:

Power Source: Electric motor. Usually, our electric winches use a YZR or Y-series motor, mostly 380V, but 220V can also be customized.

Transmission and Reduction: The motor power is transmitted to a three-stage enclosed gear reducer via a flexible coupling. This is key to achieving "slow speed" and "high torque" output, effectively reducing the output speed.

Braking and Winding: After reduction, the drum is driven to rotate via a jaw coupling, and an electromagnetic brake ensures safe, sensitive braking. The wire rope is neatly arranged on the drum, and winding it completes traction or lifting.

Some Tips For JM Electric Winch Operation

JM winches are frequently used for precision lifting, making safe operation paramount:

a. Solid Anchoring: Before use, the winch must be reliably anchored using bolts, crossbeams, stakes, or counterweights to prevent slippage or overturning during operation.

b. Wire Rope Management: Wire ropes must be neatly arranged. It is strictly forbidden to step on or pull the wire rope while it is rotating. At least three safety turns of wire rope must be retained on the drum. Wire ropes that meet the scrapping criteria (e.g., more than 10% broken wires within one pitch, diameter wear exceeding 40%, severe corrosion) must be replaced immediately.

c. Overloading Prohibited: Strictly adhere to the rated tensile force during operation.

d. Standardized Operation: Operators must be professionally trained and certified. No one may cross the wire rope during operation. Operators must not leave the area after lifting a load. In case of a sudden power outage, immediately disconnect the power supply and lower the load to the ground.
